Perspectives of Immigration

Updated: May 9, 2019

There are many issues with immigration that is impossible to only choose one because all of them are bond together. There is always two sides of the story, one with the solution and the other one affected for that. Immigration is a global problem that affects everyone but the United States is one with the highest level of immigration around the world. There is always pros and cons of every problem but this is becoming something that we have to aware of.

By standing on the government point of view, the main problem is that thousands of millions of people try to cross illegally the border forcing the government to spent more money on agents and equipment to make the frontier more secure. The U.S cannot be flexible with immigration because is too many people trying to cross looking for job opportunities and to live the American dream that most of the desire. The idea of president Trump to build the wall is very controversial and is still in process for approval because the congress believes that building that wall will affect the U.S economy and still illegal immigrants will find a way to cross. The article basically states that the wall is basically to lower the percent of illegal immigrants coming to the country not to eliminate the problem.

By the immigrants perspective, the main problem is their economy and the need of a job, and that happens for the poor knowledge of ruling by other countries presidents that the only thing that they care is themselves. Also, the immigration costs are too high for their budget and the majority of them do not have the resources to afford immigration papers, but also the process is long and It can be denied at any moment with no chance to cross.

Illegal community bring benefits to the U.S economy for the sheep workforce and they only take jobs that many Americans citizens do not want for their extreme conditions. Those jobs like agriculture and industry need to be fulfilled in order to increase the economy of the country and the only way to do that is to let illegal immigrants to work in those fields.

All can agree, that we want to end both inconsistent law enforcement and the "shadow communities" of isolated immigrants living in fear. We all want those who have immigrated to our country to be warmly welcomed and assimilated into our country in an orderly and just manner. This is why it makes sense to put red, white and blue Americans in charge of who gets to stay. In keeping with the American spirit, Americans will embrace, encourage and empower those who make our communities better.
